Man Charged with Camden Murder Set to Appear in Court

A 35-year-old man is due in court today after being charged with the murder of Anthony Marks, 51, who died following a brutal assault in Camden earlier this year.

The Attack That Shocked Camden

Anthony Marks was attacked on Whidborne Street, Camden, on 10 August. He was hospitalised for three days but released. Two weeks after, Marks suffered a seizure and was readmitted, tragically dying on 25 September.

Police Arrest and Charges

  • Harry Gittins, 35, from Regent Square, Camden, was arrested and charged on Friday, 6 December.
  • He has been remanded to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today (7 December).

Two Teens Also Charged

Alongside Gittins, a 17-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl have been charged with the murder. Both are currently on remand, with their identities protected due to their age.
