44-Year-Old Arrested Over Brutal Attack

Thomas Gracey, 44, from Littlemore, Oxfordshire, is set to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on December 10. He faces charges of attempted murder after a shocking stabbing of a police officer in Basingstoke.

Officer Attacked While Responding to Welfare Call

The violent incident occurred on April 12 at around 4.30pm on Churchill Way. Officers had been called to check on welfare when the officer, in his 20s, was attacked during an interaction with Gracey.

Victim Stabbed Multiple Times but Has Fully Recovered

The officer was stabbed twice with knives, sustaining injuries to his head, neck, and hands. Thankfully, he has since made a full recovery and has returned to duty.
