Monster Social Worker Still Threat After Child Sex Conviction
A County Derry social care worker convicted of terrifying sex offences against three children remains a serious risk, a tribunal has ruled. Eugene Odhiambo Oduor, 34, shows no remorse and poses a “significant risk of re-offending,” the Northern Ireland Social Care Council’s fitness to practise committee declared.
Oduor Banned for Life from Social Care
The Belfast Telegraph reports Oduor has been banned from working in any social care role. The committee slammed him for giving “no evidence of insight into the seriousness of his actions and the likely impact on the victims.”
Four-Year Prison Term for Sickening Child Sex Crimes
In June 2024, Oduor was jailed for four years at Antrim Crown Court after being found guilty of 12 child sex offences, including 11 counts of engaging in sexual activity with children and one charge of sexual communication.
