Ton of Cocaine Found Hidden in Gas Canister in Queenborough
Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate have busted a major drug haul after seizing 13 kilos of cocaine. The stash was shockingly hidden inside a gas canister in Queenborough.
Van Stop Leads to Big Drug Bust
Officers stopped a van near Thompsett Way at around 7:50pm on 15 September 2020. That’s when they discovered the Class A drug concealed inside the gas cylinder.
Suspect Charged and Remanded
- Mosin Quadir, 26, from Durham Terrace, bradford/" title="Bradford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Bradford, was charged on 17 September.
- He faces possession with intent to supply and acquiring criminal property charges.
- Quadir appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 18 September and was remanded in custody.
- He is set to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 16 October.
