West Yorkshire Police officer PC Mark Hinchliffe, 42, and former police staff member Lisa Hinchliffe, 38, have been hit with serious charges. Both face allegations of perverting the course of justice linked to speeding offences committed while off-duty.
PC Hinchliffe Suspended, Lisa Hinchliffe Resigned
PC Hinchliffe, who serves in the Leeds district, has been suspended pending the outcome. Lisa Hinchliffe, no longer a member of the force, resigned after the allegations emerged.
Court Date Set
The pair are scheduled to appear before bradford/" title="Bradford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Bradford Magistrates’ Court on 1 and 2 November to answer the charges.
