A persistent stalker who left a woman terrified and anxious has finally been locked up. Mason Raynor ignored strict court orders and kept harassing his victim, showing no remorse for his actions.

Relentless Harassment Despite Court Orders

The 37-year-old from Meadow Close, Edwinstowe, bombarded the woman with handwritten letters, Christmas and birthday cards—all containing unwanted messages. Even while behind bars, Raynor continued his campaign of terror, sending cards, phoning, and texting her relentlessly. His victim tried blocking his numbers but was still left feeling unsafe due to his persistent stalking. Raynor’s actions spanned from December 15, 2025, to January 16, 2026, causing serious alarm and distress.

Multiple Legal Breaches Land Raynor Behind Bars

Raynor pleaded guilty to stalking and admitted breaching a restraining order, non-molestation order, plus two suspended sentence orders issued in late 2025 and early 2026. On Monday, April 20, Nottingham Crown Court sentenced Raynor to 12 months in jail. A new five-year restraining order was also slapped on him, banning any contact with the victim. This case sends a strong message: stalking carries serious consequences, and the law will not stand for repeated harassment.
