Notorious Flasher Strikes Again in South London

Bobby Garande, 30, from Linnet Close in Thamesmead, is back in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. The notorious flasher has committed yet another indecent exposure in Lewisham, adding to his long list of offences across south London.

Repeat Offender with a Dark Past

Police have labelled Garande a “disturbing individual” after he racked up 10 convictions for indecent exposure, mostly on buses and trains in south London. His serial offences have landed him multiple prison stints and a strict court order banning him from sexually touching himself, flashing, or making persistent eye contact with women while on public transport.

Prison Did Not Stop Him

  • In September 2020, Garande was jailed for 16 weeks for exposing himself to a woman on the number 50 bus from Croydon to Norbury.
  • While behind bars serving 27 months for that offence, he committed another crime in October 2021. He spent 15 minutes subjecting a woman to inappropriate behaviour on a train from Blackfriars to Elephant and Castle, earning an extra 26 weeks in prison.

Latest Lewisham Incident Reveals Blatant Lawbreaking

Despite pledging to quit his vile acts, Garande struck again on March 22 this year in Lewisham. Showing total disregard for the law and public decency, his actions have left London commuters shaken.

Facing Justice at Woolwich Crown Court

Appearing from HMP Wandsworth at Woolwich Crown Court, Garande pleaded guilty to indecent exposure and breaching his criminal behaviour order twice. However, sentencing has been delayed until next week due to barristers’ scheduling conflicts.

Garande’s brazen attacks have terrorised women across the city’s public transport network, highlighting the urgent need for tough legal action to keep the public safe.
