Seven Face Charges Over Dark Web Drugs Bust

Police swooped in a major crackdown on Dark Web drug dealers, executing nine warrants across north east London, Manchester, Sussex, and Hertfordshire. The Cyber Crime Unit targeted criminal networks distributing Class A and Class B drugs.

Who’s Been Charged?

  • Hassan Patel, 34 of Rochdale: Three counts of conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.
  • Mohammed Zamurrad, 35 of Crawley: Three counts of conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.
  • Apostolos Zgkouris, 29 of Enfield: Three counts of conspiracy and one count of producing Class B drugs.
  • Giannis Foukis, 39 of Enfield: Five counts of conspiracy, four counts of possession with intent to supply, and one count of possessing criminal property.
  • Nikolin Tarousa, 36 of Potters Bar: Two counts of conspiracy, one possession with intent, and one count of possessing criminal property.
  • Thomas Kapouranis, 26 of Potters Bar: Two counts of conspiracy and one count of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
  • Askin Aktas, 41 of Walthamstow: Three counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

Next Court Dates

All seven appeared at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on 27 October. Their next hearing is scheduled for 30 November 2022 at Wood Green Crown Court.
