Sri Lankan Sex Suspect Nabbed in Liverpool
Sujanth Ketheeswararasa, 30, wanted in France for allegedly raping a young girl, has been caught in Liverpool. The National Crime Agency (NCA) arrested him on November 19, 2025, during their global sweep, Operation Liberterra III, targeting people smuggling and trafficking.
Speedy Court Action: Extradition Set
Ketheeswararasa faced Westminster Magistrates’ Court the very next day and was remanded in custody. His full extradition hearing is pinned for March 26, 2026.
