Horrific Incident Rocks Burgreave
A brutal attack in Sheffield has left one man dead and another seriously injured. On 27 December at 2.06pm, emergency services rushed to College Close, Burgreave, following reports of violence and chaos. While officers were on the scene, a car smashed into a group of people.
Victim Dies at Scene, Woman in Critical Condition
Tragically, 46-year-old Chris Marriott died instantly at the scene. Meanwhile, a 32-year-old woman was rushed to hospital and remains in a serious condition.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
Police have arrested 23-year-old Hassan Jhangur from Whiteways Road, Sheffield. He now faces charges of murder plus five counts of attempted murder. Jhangur is in police custody and is set to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on 30 December.
