The alleged ringleader of a major crime gang is still on the run, wanted by the National Crime Agency (NCA) alongside another key suspect.
Fugitive Mastermind Evades Capture
Goran Jalal, 37, from Bradford, is the suspected organiser of illegal migrant crossings. Alongside him, Hemin Ali Salih, also 37, remains at large, with the NCA urgently hunting both.
Crucial Evidence and Convictions
The scandal unraveled when at least three migrants were discovered travelling in a lorry operated by Palage on a ferry from Caen. Palage and accomplice Ghafour were convicted on Tuesday, 14 March, for conspiracy to facilitate illegal immigration. They were sentenced to nine and five years behind bars, respectively.
