Sixth Arrest Rocks Kent Drugs Network

Another Suspect Nabbed Near Dover

Kent Police have arrested a sixth individual linked to a suspected drugs ring in East Kent. Early on Wednesday, 9 October 2024, officers swooped on a man in St Margaret’s at Cliffe, near Dover, after tracing a mobile phone connected to drug dealings.

The phone was used between April and October 2024 to contact known users across Dover and nearby areas.

David Dunn Faces Serious Supply Charges

The day after the arrest, David Dunn, 33, from West Street, Dover, was charged with supplying heroin, crack cocaine, and cocaine. He appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on 10 October and was remanded in custody. His next court hearing is set at Canterbury Crown Court.

Earlier Busts Lead to Multiple Charges

This latest arrest follows September 12 raids in Dover, Deal, Ramsgate, Chartham, and Dymchurch. Three men caught in those swoops now face conspiracy charges over heroin and crack cocaine supply, with a court date at Canterbury Crown Court on 14 October.

Teens Also Caught in the Dragnet

Two 17-year-old boys from Dover are charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. They’ll appear at Medway Youth Court on 18 October. One reportedly faces extra charges related to crack cocaine supply.

Investigation Continues

Kent Police say their probe into this drug network is far from over, with more developments expected.
