Predator Piersaverio Finizio Locked Up for Stalking Four Women

Piersaverio Finizio, 30, from St Nicholas Road, St Pauls, has been slammed with a 12-month jail sentence for stalking four women across Bristol. Despite pleading not guilty last month, the court found him guilty of four counts of stalking causing serious distress at Bristol Magistrates’ Court.

Chilling Encounters Across Bristol

Each woman was targeted alone at different spots, including Newfoundland Way, Bond Street, and Wade Street earlier this year. On Valentine’s Day, Finizio creeped up on one victim in the early hours, telling her repeatedly, “You look lonely, I want to be your valentine,” before chasing her until she fled and grabbed a taxi home.

In March, on Bond Street, he stalked another woman, ominously insisting, “You will be an angel soon,” and badgered her for her phone number multiple times.

Victims’ Brave Actions Snare the Stalker

  • One woman escaped after Finizio grabbed her arm while bombarding her with unwanted compliments and demands for her number on Newfoundland Way.
  • He blocked another victim’s path until she reluctantly gave her phone number—only for him to harass her with calls and messages soon after.

Thanks to their quick thinking, all four women shared Finizio’s mobile number with the police, who quickly tracked him down and arrested him.

Restraining Orders to Keep Bristol Safe

Alongside his jail term, Finizio was hit with five-year restraining orders banning any contact with the victims. A Stalking Prevention Order will monitor his every move on release, aiming to keep Bristol’s streets safe from his nasty advances.
