Brutal A2 Assault Near Canterbury
Emergency crews rushed to the London-bound A2 near Wincheap at 5:40am on Saturday, 14 December 2024. Reports say a car’s occupants were viciously attacked by at least one person from another vehicle. Two men were hospitalised; one suffered serious, life-changing injuries and remains under medical care.
Arrests Made After North London Sting
Police launched a swift investigation. On Tuesday, 28 January 2025, two men were arrested in North London. Dawood Khan, 28, from Burnt Oak, faces charges including attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of offensive weapons—a wooden bat and an axe.
Legal Proceedings and Ongoing Probe
Khan is set to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 30 January 2025. The other 27-year-old man arrested has been released on bail but remains part of the investigation.
