Three vehicles burgled in Broadmead Road raid

Police were scrambled to Broadmead Road, Folkestone just after midnight on Thursday, 3 October, following reports of vehicle break-ins. Officers found three cars had been targeted, with thieves making off with a parking badge, phone chargers, and sunglasses. A folding lock knife was also recovered at the scene.

Suspect caught 15 minutes after call-out

In a lightning-fast response, kent-police/" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Kent Police arrested a suspect within 15 minutes of being alerted. Daniel Morrison, 33, who has no fixed address, was charged the very next day.

Multiple charges and remand in custody

Morrison now faces several offences including criminal damage, theft, vehicle interference, and possession of a knife in public. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today.
