Teen Rapist Sentenced to Nearly Four Years Behind Bars
Jamie George, just 18, has been slammed with a 45-month sentence after being found guilty of raping and assaulting a teenage girl. The chilling attacks happened in January 2024, when George was only 16.
Horror Night at Victim’s Home
George, once from Pike Lane, Kingsley, Cheshire, showed up at the girl’s house with her consent. After some initial sexual activity, he relentlessly pushed her for more sex – which she refused. But the nightmare didn’t end there. Over that night and the next morning, George raped and sexually assaulted her, even going so far as to strangle her.
Brave Victim Speaks Out, Killer Caught
The victim found courage weeks later and told a college lecturer about the appalling ordeal. The lecturer quickly alerted the police. George admitted to some consensual acts but denied rape and strangulation charges. However, police uncovered social media messages where he basically confessed and apologised.
Heavy Jail Time and Lifetime Bans
On Wednesday, 19 November, Leicester Crown Court decided on a tough sentence: 45 months in a young offender institution. George was also added to the sex offenders register for life and hit with a lifelong restraining order, forbidding any contact with his victim.
