Teenager Busted After Man Stabbed in Worthing Park

A 17-year-old boy from Brighton was hauled before Crawley magistrates following a stabbing in Worthing’s Victoria Park in the early hours of 28 February.

Victim Left Seriously Injured in Bruising Park Attack

Emergency crews scrambled to the scene after reports of a violent assault. The victim, a man in his 40s, was stabbed during a brief but brutal clash with two suspects inside the park. Paramedics treated him on site before rushing him to hospital. Thankfully, he has since been discharged and is recovering at home.

Teen Charged with Wounding and Drug Supply

Sussex Police acted fast, arresting the teenager and charging him with wounding with intent and involvement in Class A drug supply. At Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 3 March, the youth was remanded in custody and will face further hearings.
