Four Teens Busted After Deal Town Centre Brawl
Chaos erupted in Deal on Tuesday, 9 April 2024, when four teenagers sparked a disturbance in the town centre. Police rushed to High Street at around 4:30pm following reports of a heated altercation between teens and adults.
Three Victims Hurt in Violent Scuffle
During the melee, two men and a teenage boy were reportedly assaulted. Quick-thinking officers arrested two teenagers near the scene and made two more arrests the next day as investigations continued.
Serious Charges Laid Against Juveniles
- A 16-year-old boy faces charges of affray, common assault, and possession of a class B drug.
- A 17-year-old girl has been charged with affray, assaulting an emergency worker, and common assault.
- Two younger boys, aged 14 and 15, have each been charged with affray.
Due to their ages, the suspects remain unnamed. They are set to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 10 December 2024.
