Ten Charged in Major County Lines Drug Bust Across London and Surrounds

Specialist Crime officers have smashed a County Lines drug ring, charging ten suspects after raids in Enfield, Haringey, Croydon, Essex, and Thames Valley. The takedown followed a brutal 13-month probe into heroin and crack cocaine supply linked to violent crime in Norwich.

Mass Arrests After Targeted Warrants

The crackdown took place on Tuesday, 28 July, hitting residential addresses across London and nearby counties. Officers swooped to arrest the following individuals, all charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine, with some also charged for possession with intent to supply:

  • Mohammed Habib, 26 (Cedar Road, N17)
  • Anas Omar, 21 (Sheldon Road, N18)
  • Muhammed Malik, 20 (Mitcham Road, CR0)
  • Zakaria Mohamed, 20 (Moree Way, N18)
  • Dirie Haaji, 24 (No fixed abode)
  • Ayub Ahmed, 20 (Porthleven Place, MK6)
  • Alna Tucker, 18 (Carlton Avenue, SS0)
  • Aymed Khayre, 24 (No fixed abode)
  • Leban Hassan, 20 (No fixed abode)
  • Ibrahim Shariff, 26 (Arthur Road, N9)

Remanded, Court Date Set

All ten suspects have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 29 July. Meanwhile, two other males aged 17 and 19 were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply but have been released under investigation pending further inquiries.

During the operation and subsequent manhunt, police identified several vulnerable individuals exploited by this criminal network. Safeguarding measures are now in place to protect those affected.
