13 Men Charged After Shocking Daytime Violence at Swansea Cemetery
Brutal chaos broke out in Morriston Cemetery, Swansea, in broad daylight. Thirteen men have now been charged following a violent clash that left two victims seriously injured.

At around 3pm on August 5, armed officers and a police helicopter were scrambled to the cemetery after reports of violence. The group, all known to each other, were seen wielding weapons and attacking one another amid the graves.

“This was an absolutely appalling incident that would have terrified those in the cemetery in the middle of the day,” said Detective Chief Inspector Owens of South Wales Police. “This type of criminal behaviour will not be tolerated in our communities, and anyone who commits these acts will face the consequences.”
