Three Charged Over Fatal Shooting of Kacey Boothe in East London
Multiple Arrests Made in Forest Rise Murder Case
Ka-Amni Brightly-Donaldson, 22, from High Street, EN3, was arrested on Wednesday, 12 October. He faces serious charges including conspiracy to murder Kacey Boothe, possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition. The following day, Donaldson appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody. He is set to appear at the Old Bailey on 10 November.
Jeffrey Gyimah, 20, of Queensbridge Road, E8, was arrested on Thursday, 13 October. He was charged with the murder of Kacey Boothe and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition on Friday, 14 October. Magistrates remanded him in custody; he will face trial on 18 October at the Old Bailey.
Kammar Henry-Richards, 24, from Cambrian Road, E10, was arrested on Sunday, 16 October. He was charged with murder on Monday, 17 October, and is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 18 October.
Deadly Gunshots Heard in Forest Rise
Police were called just before 9.30pm on Saturday, 13 August, following reports of gunshots in Forest Rise, E17. Officers arrived to find that Kacey Boothe, 25, from Stratford, had already been rushed to hospital in a private vehicle.
Despite efforts by medical staff, Kacey sadly died in hospital. A post mortem confirmed he died from gunshot wounds to the neck and chest.
Investigation Continues
The Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime North unit is actively investigating the murder. No further details have been released as the case develops.
