Smash-and-Grab Ex Shoved Behind Bars
On 30 September, a 37-year-old thug smashed a window lock to break into his ex’s home. When confronted, he got violent and even tried snatching the victim’s phone as she called Kent Police. The scene shook the victim’s children.
Police arrested him immediately. At Medway Magistrates’ Court on 2 October, he was slammed with 34 weeks behind bars for breaching his restraining order, common assault, and criminal damage.
Serial Stalker Gets Hard Time
A 29-year-old man with a disturbing record stalked his ex between 13 September and 1 October, turning up at her house and firing off threatening messages. This came just ten days after he was slapped with a restraining order and a suspended prison sentence for battering her.
He was arrested quicksmart and locked up for 20 weeks at Medway Magistrates’ Court for violating both the restraining order and his suspended sentence.
Persistent Harassment Sparks Court Drama
On 20 September, a 34-year-old was hauled in for harassing his ex with aggressive calls and forcing his way into her home. Although released on bail, he faces Maidstone Crown Court later this year on restraining order breach charges.
