Three Men Charged After Armed Smash and Grab in Knightsbridge
Armed Raid Shakes Brompton Road
Just before 11am on Tuesday, 20 January, a luxury store on Brompton Road was hit by a brazen armed robbery. Three suspects stormed the shop, threatening staff and shoppers with weapons before making off with a stash of high-value watches.
Miraculously, nobody was injured in the terrifying raid.
Swift Police Action Snaps Up Suspects
The Met’s elite Flying Squad swung into action immediately. Less than two weeks later, on 5 February, all three men were arrested in dawn raids across London.
The Accused: Profiles of the Knightsbridge Robbers
- Dean Dinan, 29, Islington – charged with robbery, firearm and ammunition possession, and handling criminal property.
- Elliot Campbell, 31, Islington – charged with robbery, possession of criminal property, and drug possession.
- Dyllan Gowie, 27, Tower Hamlets – charged with robbery and drug possession.
All three are due to appear at Highbury Magistrates Court on Friday, 6 February.
