Man Charged After Shocking Portsmouth Car Wash Assault
A 30-year-old man was attacked while washing his car in Sedgley Close, Portsmouth, on Sunday, July 27.
The victim was threatened and assaulted by a man, suffering a minor head injury. Before leaving, a second man rifled through the victim’s car.
Suspect Tobias Maylott Busted
Police have charged 27-year-old Tobias Maylott of Wynton Way, Fareham, with multiple offences including attempted robbery, affray, assault causing actual bodily harm, and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in public.
Maylott was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today (Wednesday, August 24).
