Two Men Busted in Norwich Drug and Taser Raid

Met Police swooped in Norwich on Wednesday, 8 April, nabbing two men over Class A drug supply and illegal weapon charges.

Two Charged After Targeted Police Warrants

Officers executed two pre-planned warrants on Southwell Road and Motum Road, Norwich. John Cann, 47, faces two counts of conspiring to supply heroin and cocaine. Scott Ives Keeler, 38, was charged with the same drug offences plus possession of a prohibited firearm — a Taser.

Both Held for Court Appearance

The pair were remanded ahead of their hearing at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 8 April.

Crackdown Continues with London Arrests

Earlier, on Wednesday, 1 April, Met Police hauled in five suspects from north and east London in a related operation. All five are charged with conspiring to supply Class A drugs. Their next court date is set for Thursday, 30 April.

The coordinated raids show a stern warning from the Met on tackling drug trafficking and illegal weapons.
