Gun Stash Foiled in Northolt Armed Raid
Police swooped on a Northolt property in Killowen Avenue on 19 October 2021 after intel revealed a firearm was being hidden there. Officers found a package containing a black pistol and ammunition during the armed raid.
Cydney Hadkinson, caught at the scene, was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences. She claimed she had no idea what was inside the package.
Forensics Pinpoint Gun Handlers
Specialist Crime detectives dug deeper, analysing CCTV and forensic evidence. Their investigations identified Kaoen Tarahkel and Necho Lewis as key players in handling and transferring the firearm.
Necho Lewis, 31, of london/" title="London" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Road, Isleworth, was jailed for nine and a half years after being found guilty of transferring the firearm and ammunition, and possessing them with intent to endanger life.
Hadkinson Gets Suspended Sentence
At Isleworth Crown Court on 8 May, 27-year-old Cydney Hadkinson received an 18-month prison sentence, suspended for two years. She had previously pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Met Police Warn on Firearm Offences
Detective Constable Lianne Grayson, Met Specialist Crime Command, said:
“Tarahkel and Lewis exploited Hadkinson’s vulnerable situation to stash a deadly weapon at her address. While the Judge considered her circumstances, the seriousness of this offence is clear in the heavy sentences given to the others.
I hope this sends a strong message: if you handle firearms, you will be arrested, face court, and be held accountable.”
