Teen Duo Nabbed Over North and West Kent Burglary Spree
Five Homes Hit in Overnight Raids
Two teenagers have been charged after a string of burglary and vehicle theft incidents across north and west Kent. The crime spree took place from Saturday, 1 March to Tuesday, 11 March 2025.
The suspects reportedly struck five properties overnight, dressed in dark tracksuits. They rummaged through homes to steal car keys, making off with multiple vehicles.
Cars Stolen Across Kent
Among the cars lifted were:
- A Mini Cooper from Beechings Way, Gillingham (1 March)
- A Volkswagen Golf from Shipbourne Road, Tonbridge (6 March)
- A Mercedes and a Honda Jazz from Maidstone Road, Rainham (11 March)
- A Kia Picanto from London Road, Faversham (11 March)
Other valuables were taken too, including an iPhone and iPad from a home near Walderslade Road, Rochester. More items vanished from vehicles parked on Randolph Road, Rochester.
Two 17-Year-Olds Arrested and Charged
Police arrested two 17-year-old boys – one from Strood, Kent, and another from Southend-on-Sea, Essex – on 11 March. They’re charged with conspiracy to steal motor vehicles, conspiracy to commit burglaries, and theft from motor vehicles.
The teens remain in custody, set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 13 March.
Police Appeal for CCTV and Dashcam Footage
West Kent Police are urging local residents and drivers with CCTV or dashcam footage to check their recordings for clues. Anyone with info should call 01622 604100 quoting reference 46/YY/11197/25.
