A notorious Czech drug dealer, Patrik Durac, who’s been booted out of the UK time and time again, has been caught red-handed sneaking back in with a fake passport.

Deported But Defiant – Nabbed at Holyhead

The 27-year-old was arrested at Holyhead port, Wales, on December 5 after trying to enter the UK using false ID under the name “Martin Rafael.” Durac is banned from the UK under an indefinite deportation order slapped on him in 2023.

Despite multiple deportations, Durac flaunted his return on social media in October 2024 from Stoke-on-Trent. Wearing a flashy £1,500 Moncler jacket and flashing a two-finger salute, his face was hidden. A mate cheekily commented: “You’re back UK yes.”

A Criminal Record Straight Out of a Thriller

  • 2019: Locked up for 10 months after a vicious “revenge” attack at Hanley Bus Station — punching and kicking a man in front of kids and elderly passengers.
  • 2021: Jailed for 14 months after cops found £1,490 worth of heroin and cocaine in his car.
  • October 2022: Served 8 months for illegal re-entry attempt at Holyhead.
  • 2023: Hit with an indefinite deportation order.
  • March 2025: Deported again for immigration offences — but he kept coming back.

Prosecutor James Neary told Llandudno magistrates’ court: “He’s deliberately obtained that passport to facilitate illegal entry. He’s been involved in criminal activity throughout his time in the UK.”

Durac tried to bluff border officers but was fingerprinted and caught. In court, he even claimed: “I have never heard of Patrik Durac. I don’t know him.”

Dodging the System & Exploiting Free Movement

Durac exploited freedom of movement rules, ferrying back and forth between Ireland and Holyhead. He reportedly changed his name in the Czech Republic to “Martin Rafael” to get fake documents.

He also claimed an “incurable” condition to dodge work and had both his asylum bid and EU Settlement Scheme application refused.

Community Outraged – Calls for Tighter Borders

Jonathan Gullis, Mayor of Kidsgrove, slammed the system:

“This violent, convicted drug dealer was supposed to be deported for good, yet he’s sneaked back time and again, spreading fear in our communities. People want proper border controls to stop foreign offenders treating our borders like a revolving door.”

The Home Office fired back:

“Everyone entering the UK must comply with immigration rules. Anyone breaching deportation orders will be detained and removed. The Home Secretary has unveiled sweeping reforms to remove incentives attracting illegal migrants and ensure the removal of those with no right to remain.”

Durac faces sentencing in the New Year and will be spending Christmas behind bars.
