A heartless thief has been locked up for over three years after robbing an 81-year-old man and leaving him with a fractured hip.

Jody Ainsworth, 33, with no fixed address, was handed a sentence of three years and four months after admitting she robbed an elderly pensioner. The attack took place on Sunday, May 12 in Farnworth, Bolton as the victim was withdrawing £250 from a cash machine.
