Drug Den in Back Bedroom Nets Woman 21 Years Behind Bars
Sidrah Nosheen, 34, has been jailed for 21 years and six months after the National Crime Agency uncovered a massive £8.5 million heroin stash hidden right in her Bradford home. The drugs were found in a back bedroom converted into a full-blown heroin processing lab.
Key Player in Global Heroin Smuggling Ring
Nosheen was a vital part of an organised crime gang smuggling heroin all the way from Pakistan into the UK. The gang hid the heroin inside leather jackets and other clothing, which were shipped directly to her Woodside Road address in Wyke. Sidrah then extracted the drugs and repackaged them into 1kg deals for distribution across the country.
Huge Haul Seized on Arrest
- 85kg of heroin found in bags around the house
- Wallpaper pasting table, scales, buckets and processing gear seized
- Piles of plastic-wrapped clothes await unpacking
- Traces of packaging recently processed uncovered
Damning Phone Chats and Big Cash Collections
Phone records exposed hundreds of messages between Nosheen and a co-conspirator in Pakistan, discussing heroin shipments into the UK. She was also caught moving multi-kilo deals and once collected a whopping £250,000 in cash from a Bradford-based criminal contact.
Guilty Plea Sees Harsh Sentence
Originally heading for trial at Bradford Crown Court, Nosheen pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply and import heroin. She was sentenced on Tuesday 23 December, now facing more than two decades behind bars.
