Major Bust Uncovers Crack Cocaine, Heroin and Cash

The crackdown began in 2022 when detectives arrested Oliver Brighton for drugs offences. Phone evidence linked him to the Jay Line gang, a high-powered County Line operation. Further inquiries, backed by West Midlands Police and West Mercia Intelligence Unit, led to the arrests of Suri, Brooks, and Edwards for drugs and weapons offences.

Police seized £10,000 in cash alongside crack cocaine, heroin, and cannabis worth thousands, striking a heavy blow to gang activities.

Police Vow to Continue the Fight Against County Lines

“While our operation led to the closure of this Line and prison time for those gang members, our work continues,” said Detective Sergeant Luke Papps of the County Lines Team.

“Serious and organised crime remains a top priority. We want Worcestershire to be safe for all residents and will keep targeting gangs polluting our communities. We will relentlessly pursue those who bring drugs, violence, and exploit vulnerable people, including children and young people.”
