Decades of Abuse Exposed After Brave Victims Speak Out
The 74-year-old’s vile past was exposed after three victims came forward between 2021 and 2022. Investigators uncovered 32 offences dating back to the 1970s, including rape and multiple indecent assaults. Thorley’s arrest in March 2021 finally ended his terrifying freedom.

Police Praise Victims’ Courage as Justice Prevails
Detective Constable Holly O’Neill hailed the bravery of those who spoke up. “Their courage helped bring this predator to justice,” she said, promising police remain committed to protecting victims.
