Flasher Strikes Three Times Near Foremark Reservoir
Three women have been targeted by a flasher in rural spots close to Foremark Reservoir, Hartshorne, and Repton over the past 10 days. Police are hunting a man who exposed himself and then fled the scene.
Latest Incident in Repton
The most recent attack happened between 3.50pm and 4pm on Monday, December 26. A woman in her 30s was walking through a field off Mill Hill, Repton, when a man standing by a gate suddenly exposed himself before sprinting off towards Mount Pleasant Road.
Two Previous Reports Near Foremark Reservoir and Hartshorne
- On Wednesday, December 21, between 3.30pm and 4pm, a woman in her 30s was walking near Foremark Reservoir, Milton, when a jogger passed her, stopped ahead, then exposed himself as she walked by.
- Also on that day, a 16-year-old girl reported that a man exposed himself to her while she was riding her horse on Brook Street, Hartshorne, near Greysich Lane.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The suspect is described as white, slim, about 6ft tall, aged late 30s to 40s, with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, and running trainers.
“We take incidents like this extremely seriously and are doing all we can to catch the man responsible,” said Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Tarj Nizzer. “Patrols are increasing, and we urge anyone affected, or who has witnessed suspicious behaviour, to come forward.”
“If you spot anyone acting suspiciously, don’t approach them—call us straight away and try to remember as many details as possible,” Sgt Nizzer added.
