Boy, 12, Critically Injured in Eccleston Car Crash

Emergency services were scrambled at around 8.30am this morning (Monday, April 12) after a Ford Focus estate collided with a 12-year-old boy on The Green, Eccleston.

Serious Injuries but Not Life-Threatening

The young lad suffered serious injuries and was rushed by ambulance to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Thankfully, his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

Sgt Steve Hardman from Lancashire Constabulary’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “This collision has left a youngster with some very serious injuries. I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or who has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.”
