Woman Left with Broken Collarbone and Cracked Skull After Brutal Sidcup Attack
Cops hunt man caught on CCTV linked to savage assault on young woman in Sidcup, Bexley.
Early Morning Horror on North Cray Road
Police were alerted on Thursday morning, 21 May, at 5.38am about an assault that had taken place the night before. The victim, a 19-year-old woman, was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. Medics confirmed she suffered a broken collarbone and a cracked skull following the vicious attack.
The shocking assault occurred between 8.40am and 9.05am on Wednesday, 20 May, near the White Cross Pub on North Cray Road in Sidcup.
Suspect Description and Police Appeal
Officers have released CCTV images of a man they urgently want to question. He is described as white, tanned, early 30s, approximately 6ft 2in tall with a large build and dark brown hair. The tattooed suspect was last seen wearing black shorts.
Detective Constable James Steel, Met’s South East BCU, said: “We want to identify and speak to this man and two associates believed involved in the assault. The victim was attacked close to the White Cross Pub. If you have any information, please come forward.”
Still No Arrests – Police Urge Public to Help
No arrests have been made so far. Police are appealing to anyone with information to call 101, quoting image reference number 046142.
