Tragedy Strikes Outside Asda Petrol Station

Daniel Ambler, 23, was fatally struck at an Asda Express garage in Seaham, County Durham. The horrific crash happened on Thursday afternoon at around 4.50pm on Stockton Road.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene after reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian. Despite desperate life-saving efforts, Daniel was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Launch Murder Probe – Three Arrested, Manhunt for Suspect Underway

Durham Constabulary has launched a full murder investigation. Three people have been arrested, but police are urgently searching for 19-year-old Ashton Anderson, wanted on suspicion of murder.

Officers describe Ashton as roughly 5ft 10in, slim build, with short brown hair. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.

Scene of Horror Sealed Off as Community Reels

The Asda forecourt remains cordoned off with forensic teams combing the area. A large section of the shop’s glass front has been removed, while tarpaulins and tents block the view from passersby.

Local neighbours are left in shock after witnessing the chilling aftermath.

“I saw paramedics doing CPR and then putting a sheet up. There were so many police cars – I knew something terrible had happened.”

Another witness described the normally quiet street as “absolutely shocking,” adding hundreds gathered after the news spread.
