Police in Warwickshire have seized a BMW 520d after discovering the 64-year-old behind the wheel hasn’t held a valid licence for almost five decades.
How Did He Get Away With It?
The driver first applied for a provisional licence back in September 1978. Since then, he’s never passed a driving test. Yet, he’s been cruising the roads unlicensed for nearly 48 years.
Caught on the A444 Near Bedworth
The car was stopped on the A444 Jimmy Hill Way near #Bedworth. Police found him driving without supervision and without L plates. The driver was reported for driving other than in accordance with his licence. The BMW was promptly seized as police crackdown on licence offenders.
