Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters have been rushed to tackle a fierce vehicle fire in a multi-storey car park at Heathrow Airport.
The main tunnel linking terminals 1, 2, and 3 is currently closed while crews battle the blaze. Commuters are advised to expect delays and follow alternative routes.
The fire brigade received eight calls about the blaze, with the first alert coming in at 9:04am. Firefighters from Heathrow, Hayes, and Feltham stations were dispatched without delay to contain the fire.
Officials have not yet determined what sparked the fire. Investigations are ongoing as teams work to secure the area and prevent further damage.
