Lauren Blake Boultier, a 30-year-old influencer with 1.6 million followers, has landed herself in hot water. She’s been accused of stealing a black model’s picture and slapping her own face onto it – sparking outrage online.

Fake Appearances and Questionable Claims

Boultier blamed an AI content agency for the stunt, claiming they “brainlessly” superimposed her face on the body of black model Tatiana Elizabeth. But fans aren’t convinced. Many are asking: Was she even at that tennis match she claimed to be attending? Tatiana Elizabeth slammed the move on Instagram, pointing out the blatant inaccuracies.

“The weirdest part is this isn’t even an AI influencer. This is a real person who used AI to put her head on my body. She geotagged MIAMI as if at the Miami Open, but my photo was taken at the US Open TWO YEARS AGO.”

Boultier’s Apology Falls Flat

After mounting backlash, Boultier finally spoke out, but her apology sounded more like damage control:

“I want to address a post created by a third-party AI content agency I work with. It was brought to my attention that an image used the likeness of a Black creator in a way that goes against my values. I take full responsibility for what’s on my platforms. The post was removed and I’ve apologised directly to the creator. Moving forward, I’ll have stricter oversight of my agency to ensure respect and integrity. I’m truly sorry for the hurt caused to the original creator and the community. Thank you to those who spoke up. I’m listening and committed to doing better.”

Model Calls Out Empty Words

Tatiana Elizabeth wasn’t having any of it. She dismissed the apology as mere lip service:

“She’s just saying what she thinks she needs to move past this.”

Fair point. After all, the post appeared on Boultier’s personal Instagram – so how much control did this “AI agency” really have? Plus, it’s downright bizarre for a real person to post AI-edited photos pretending to be somewhere they weren’t. It takes catfishing to a whole new, dodgy level.

Real Photos for Real People

We won’t bother showing Boultier’s dodgy IG snaps. Instead, here’s a reminder of the genuine article from Tatiana Elizabeth – no tricks, just pure talent.
